We are excited to now offer you Optomap retinal imaging. This ultra-widefield retinal imaging enables our doctor to discover, diagnose, document and treat ocular pathology that may first present in the periphery - pathology which may go undetected using traditional examination techniques and equipment. Our UWF, high-resolution retinal imaging devices each image more than 80% or 200˚ of the retina in a single capture. Typically this replaces dilation, so you don't have to leave the exam with blurred vision and sensitivity to light.

This includes (but is not limited to) testing your visual acuity, eye alignment, pupil reaction, auto and manual refraction (fine-tuning your Rx), a slit lamp exam to examine your eye anatomy including your cornea, conjunctiva, lens, eyelids and lashes, eye pressure testing (for glaucoma )and a written prescription for glasses. A retinal exam is also performed through dilation, if necessary, or Optomap retinal imaging.

This includes a comprehensive eye health examination as well as a contact lens evaluation. This evaluation includes measuring the curvature of your cornea, examining the fit of the contact lens on the surface of the eye, and determining the best contact lens for your eyes. This exam typically includes a trial pair of contacts and follow-ups if necessary. You will receive a written prescription for glasses and contact lenses once that prescription is finalized.

This includes visits for eye infections, injuries, sudden loss of vision, new flashes or floaters, foreign object removal, dry eye, etc. ​

We are usually able to see patients same day for these type of visits, depending on nature of the issue.

This type of visit is typically covered under your medical insurance, not your vision insurance. Or, if self-pay, visits start at $53 and go up depending on severity of issue and type of treatment.
